Day 5- Procida Island

Transfer to Procida

Enjoy a boat tour around the island of Ischia enjoying the beautiful coastline and clear waters.

Ischia has a Green Grotto, also known as Grotta Verde. The grotto is a natural cavity in the rock that's only accessible by sea, located in the bay in front of Punta della Cannuccia in the southeast part of the island. It's a place where the warm water from mineral springs that flow from the shoreline meets the seawater.

Enjoy pasta tasting featuring local recipes and flavors.

Day 7- Ischia

Afternoon Cooking Class at our Hotel. Taste the flavors of Ischia with organically grown vegetables and herbs on the hotel property.

The best time to visit is in May or September. It's most enjoyable during these months — expect beautiful weather and lots of activities, without the summer crowds. Temperatures normally sit around 68°F to 77°F.

Language- Italian although many in this regions speak English due to the tourism there. Ischia many people speak English, but it is less coon.

Currency- Euro. You should download currency convert app such as XE Currency Converter.  This will allow you to track the Euro and find the best time to purchase Euros for your trip. 

What to Wear- Since the weather is normally very mild in May, lightweight clothing would be appropriate.  Make sure you bring some lighter outerwear as the evenings and breeze along the coast may get chilly.  Keep in mind when traveling to Italy in general, when you go into churches or places with a religious atmosphere, women must cover their shoulders and knees.  Capri pants and longer dresses are appropriate.  A scarf can be worn over the shoulders. 

Don't for get to pack your sunglasses and sunscreen. We will be traveling by boat and you don't want to get sunburned.
