Norwegian Cruise to the Bahamas 2022

A POP UP cruise on Norwegian Pearl with Gurvy, turned into three Suitcase Gals traveling together across the seas on a voyage to Key West, Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay [their private island].  Two Maryland residents and one brave soul traveled from California and met in Miami where we boarded the NCL. 

 

The staff could not have been any nicer! They were ready to accommodate your every need. Our balcony staterooms were amazing--roomy and comfy. Enjoying a drink on the balcony was a treat as you peered onto the blue horizon. First immersion as a cruiser--the ship was immaculate from end to end!

 

Yes another Suitcase Gals trip where we met on board and had some me time, girl bonding time as we joked, laughed, learned about each other and enjoyed delicious food. Yes, maybe one too many trips to the buffet--level 12 was known very well.  The beauty of traveling with women 40 and over is you really have had the same life experiences and can share and bond on a different level. 

 

We joined seminars on how to flatten your stomach, and all enjoyed spa experiences [I won $100.00 gift card to the Spa in a raffle]!! The Spa treatments were amazing, simply relaxing. Suitcase Gals enjoyed the ah ha moments on the stone heated lounge chairs and the jacuzzi in the pool area. We treated ourselves to a Specialty Dining at Tepannyaki, we all felt the food was a little too salty but had a great time watching our chef sing and cook. 

 

We immersed as we docked enjoying some souvenir shopping, the quaint the laid back Key West! Our trolley tour was enjoyable as we toured Key West and learned about the highlights. Strolled Duval St. The Straw Market in Nassau was quite the market as you walked booth to booth--yeah lady I can give you the best price. The private island consists of taking in some sun, splashing in the blue water, swimming with the pigs and of course EATING lol! and drinking.
