COVID-19 Policies
Background:
COVID-19 (coronavirus) is a known and continually evolving health event still affecting travel in the US and worldwide. Vaccines are readily available throughout the United States, Europe, and many other countries where tourism is prevalent.
Travelers (100%) who traveled on a SG tour in 2021 were vaccinated against Covid-19. These travelers overwhelmingly stated they preferred traveling with other vaccinated women.
Vaccination Required to Travel with SG in 2022:
By definition, group travel means women are in close contact with one another for a week or more as we share meals, transportation, activities and sometimes a room. Vaccinations are essential to the safety and peace of mind of the group, and they are increasingly mandated to enter locations that are part of the tour.
Therefore, all travelers must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 at least 3 weeks prior to tour start, and be able to demonstrate proof of that vaccination, to participate in a SG tour operating in 2022.
Informed Consent to Travel Form Required
Travelers will be required to take responsibility for their decision to travel and agree to abide by additional requirements currently in place because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
- Sign SG's "Informed Consent to Travel"
- Provide proof of being fully vaccinated at least 3 weeks prior to the start of the tour.
- Comply with all requirements imposed by the locations and venues that are part of the tour services.
- Sign any waivers of liability presented by vendors providing services for the tour.
- Adhere to Covid-19 mandates imposed by federal, state and local authorities, in the US and Internationally.
